About The Owner
Lily’s passion for working with animals began with horses. She developed her training skills through years of hands-on experience, competing in shows, earning national recognition in her division, and winning multiple first-place ribbons at local events. Over time, her focus shifted to dog training and canine behavior. She studied various training methods and breed-specific traits while gaining experience at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. She was later offered an apprenticeship with a well-respected dog trainer, where she honed her skills in off-leash obedience. This experience led her to start Fetch & Follow.

In addition to Fetch & Follow, Lily is launching Death Row Dogs Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping bully breeds. Inspired by her own dogs, Benny and Opal, she is committed to giving these often-overlooked dogs a second chance.

Meet The Co-Owners
Benny

Benny is an 8-year-old American Bulldog mix. Lily adopted him after he was rescued from South Carolina and brought to Pittsburgh. Benny loves his ball and never turns down a game of fetch at the park. Over the years, he has also become a trusted demo dog for Fetch & Follow, helping assist with training sessions and serving as a calm, reliable presence for dogs working on reactivity, socialization, and obedience around other dogs.
Opal

Opal is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. Lily brought her home at just 8 weeks old, and she has been part of the family ever since. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Opal is a proud Steelers fan with the energy to match. Her high drive and sharp focus have made her a great fit for protection training, which Lily has been actively working on with her. Opal also assists in training sessions, helping dogs build confidence and stay focused around distractions.
